Aurway's Black Broadway Revue is a concert-style experience that mirrors a vaudeville variety show, set in the present day. Guided by an emcee through decades of Black Broadway history, the evening moves through scenes and songs from some of theater's most iconic stages, spanning shows like Dreamgirls, Hamilton, The Color Purple, Ain't Too Proud, The Lion King, and Porgy and Bess. It's a theatrical history lesson in concert form, part nostalgia, part celebration of everything Black and brown writers, performers, and creatives have given the craft of theater.

This year marks Aurway's 5th anniversary, and the Revue becomes a full gala evening: dinner, cocktails, and a Harlem Renaissance-inspired affair honoring the artists who built the Great White Way and the ones building what comes next. The evening is curated and music directed by Aurway Co-Founder and Artistic Director Lawrence Dandridge, whose Broadway credits include The Wiz and Ain't Too Proud national tours.
